Combined Fundamentals of Applied Infrared Thermography and Ultrasound Analysis

Description

In our 2-Day Abridged Fundamentals of Infrared Thermography or 2-Day Abridged Fundamentals of Applied Ultrasound Analysis 4-Day class, students will learn how to establish an Infrared Thermography condition monitoring program as well as begin to understand the fundamentals of thermogram signature analysis. Students will also learn how to establish Ultrasound condition monitoring program as well as begin to understand the fundamentals of airborne and structure-borne ultrasound analysis.

This class is intended for maintenance technicians and engineers who want an introductory course in condition monitoring using ultrasound and infrared thermography.

Combine both classes in a 4-day session or take each separately in an abridged 2-day course.

Applied Infrared Thermography Prerequisites: It is advised that all candidates have their color perception assessed by the Ishihara 24 plate test. Secondary school graduate qualification or its equivalent is recommended.

Applied Ultrasound Analysis Prerequisites: It is advised that all candidates utilizing instrumentation with headphones should be given hearing examinations to ensure natural or corrected hearing acuity exists in at least one ear. Secondary school graduate qualification or its equivalent is recommended.

Course Length: 32 Hours or 16 Hours

Certification Exam: 50 questions, 2-hour time limit, closed book but a summary sheet of formulae is provided, passing score is 75% correct
